From an insider tip to a fixture – in Saalbach Hinterglemm

Consisting of: Sausage, ham, cheese platter, butter, homemade jam, honey, fresh fruit salad, eggs (fried, scrambled or soft-boiled) Gugelhupf from the wood-fired oven, homemade bread (sourdough), bread rolls and Kornspitz, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, orange juice and for the circulation – a glass of sparkling wine.

In the middle of the Reiterkogel hiking and skiing area, the Sonn Alm invites you to linger. Manuela and Christoph offer traditional hut dishes (all freshly prepared!) as well as the popular Sonn Alm-Brettljause for a snack in between or for a hearty refreshment. Connoisseurs can relax in a deckchair on the sunbathing lawn and indulge in culinary delights.
Our tip for all those with a sweet tooth: Let yourself be tempted by the seasonal homemade cakes and tarts. And don’t forget a schnapps – there is a large selection of high-quality brandies!

When the sun has already set, it gets romantic at the Sonn Alm hut evenings followed by a torch-lit hike down into the valley. Manuela and Christoph are happy to serve specialties such as hearty pork knuckles, juicy ribs, a Styrian baked chicken feast, the Sonn Alm house platter, cold dishes and more!

Note: For hut evenings, the Sonn Alm team requires a reservation no later than the day before.
